"Tiger, tiger, burning bright..."

Solitary dwellers in, and tenders of, the forest.  Their great physical strength makes them lumberjacks; their tireless ability to travel over immense distances, guides; their boundless knowledge of the woodlands, hunters.  Their utter fearlessness makes them well sought-after mercenaries.

Tiger-folk are among the carnivorous Elaïn.  Like many others they eat babelushga, but are also known to hunt certain species of Mairen, for example forest elk.  Such kills are never made outside of their home forest, and are always shared with other tiger-folk, who come together for the occasion, and then appease the forest spirits with complex, ancient rituals that take twice as long as the feast itself.

They are also widely believed to hunt Hu-Mans, although in truth this is practised only by a tiny minority.  This hunting has been observed to be deliberately self-destructive, and indeed Tiger-folk who walk this path do not live long.  It is thought that it is the practice of old, sick or insane members of the community who can no longer curb their desire to indiscriminately eat flesh, and are therefore no longer able to stand pure before the spirit of the forest.

Kehar would be someone you could ask about that, as he is a shaman, hailing from the eastern-most reaches of the Great Forest of Nar.
