Ocelots are nocturnal creatures, with a particularly keen sense of smell, and astounding dress sense.  They are the archetypical party animal, and are often found in careers where elegance is the keyword.

Rakza was the ambassador to the Quiet Court for the Prince of Lach.  She spent the last four years in close proximity to Prince Erenthal and his mother, the Queen.  She knew everybody worth knowing, and many others besides; no reception was complete without her.  Her wit is legendary, her influence on Euweran fashion was considerable, she is impossible to ruffle, and she also smells good to boot.

None of these skills are directly useful in the immediate flight before the Aegyptus, but Rakza chose to accompany Erenthal none the less, arguing that her embassy should remain open.  Once it became clear they were far adrift, she cheerfully told the Prince that her skills would be useful to avoid them being eaten alive by the natives.  She has many other abilities which are of assistance, including persuasion, charisma and discretion.  This makes her a surprisingly good asset for the Exiles : who would ever have imagined that in the comfy saloons of Euwera's upper crust nightlife ?
