"How did I know ?  Just a wild stab in the dark, which incidentally is what you'll be getting, if you tell anybody you spoke to me".

House mice are naturally drawn to urban life, particularly well-adapted to it, and indeed ill adapted to life outside it.  They are however at odds with the needs of other inhabitants, as they are almost exclusively nocturnal, have very rapid reproduction rates, and to make matters worse, have the physical need to constantly chew on something.  It has been said that they have a "bang goes the neighbourhood" effect, wherever they arrive.

This is a unfair representation.  As short-lived as they are, and concerned by their extended family and society, they are hard-working and quick achievers.  It is these qualities - and of course his love of the velvety night - that made Edguin one of King's Whisperers.  He started as a street rumour-monger as a kid, and quickly rose to become a valued spy.

In this capacity, Edguin is more used to working alone than as a part of a Ranger's team.  Nonetheless, there is not much to be done in the way of hooded diplomacy as regards the Jungle Deep, and this is one ambitious little fellow who did not want his talents to go to waste.

During the Temple of Madness quest, Edguin became somewhat of a celebrity, for having slain not only the Dynwocor guarding the Wizard Adept at the heart of the barrow, but also Trekatis himself.  Just a wild stab or two in the dark...
