The ancient civilisation which seems to lay at the heart of the Jungle Deep, is definitely able to control the primitive, but enormous, creatures that seem to thrive in the luxuriant forest.  Reports have arrived of one of these beasts, that are now being called "dinosaurs" (meaning "Dread Lizard"), being used in what remains of Lorenthia to track down the last islands of free peoples.  

The Chief Arcanist of the King's counsel has given this type of dinosaur the name of Allosaurus, which means "Different Lizard".  It is so called, because its rudimentary intelligence, displayed in its hunting skills, sets it apart from the more peaceful or sluggish specimens of dinosaur so far known.
