The Nekhbeti, renowned amongst the civilisations of the Jungle Deep for their powerful shamans, are held in absolute awe by the Hu-Mans.  The Nekhbeti arts allow them to communicate with their ancestors, of whom the simple-minded Hu-Mans are apparently in thrall.
